10 YEARS — Live at Funkhaus Berlin

A decade ago, in 2015, we recorded Live at Funkhaus Berlin — a raw, one-take session with Aron Ottignon, Rodi Kirk, and Samuel Dubois.
But this release is more than a live album — it was a moment.
Rodi Kirk was instrumental in shaping the entire project, both musically and technically. Working with Ableton, he helped pioneer a performance setup that would later be featured in a mini-series documenting his groundbreaking techniques.
The session was made possible by Maya Rottger, who directed and curated the event with vision, hustle, and major support. At the time, Funkhaus was not the iconic venue it is today. It was a mysterious, unclaimed space — not fully open to the public, with no clear management. That uncertainty gave the project energy. It felt like exploring sacred ground with no map.
We recorded it in one take. No overdubs. No edits. Just presence, risk, and sound.
🎛️ Ableton Mini-Series: Rodi Kirk & the Funkhaus Setup
At the heart of Live at Funkhaus Berlin was an innovative live setup led by Rodi Kirk. Working with Ableton, Rodi helped pioneer a hybrid performance system — blending piano, live percussion, and reactive electronics in real time.
