About the Release
Ore Yèyé O is a devotional collaboration between pianist/producer Aron Ottignon and Otura Mun, Puerto Rican vocalist and Yoruba priest known as ÌFÉ.
A sonic offering to the Yoruba deity Oshún, the track is equal parts incantation and experimental jazz-funk meditation — soaked in reverb, rhythmic abstraction, and Afro-diasporic power.
The EP features three striking remixes from Julien Dyne, Lucas Croon, and Ziggy Zeitgeist, each taking the chant in new rhythmic and emotional directions.
