About the Release
Captured at the historic Funkhaus Berlin, this live session brings together pianist Aron Ottignon, sonic alchemist Rodi Kirk, and steel pan/percussion virtuoso Samuel Dubois for an intimate yet expansive recording.
The trio reinterprets Ottignon’s Starfish EP through a deeply collaborative lens, using hybrid setups — from Ableton Push and drum machines to spatial mixing and live FX — to transform the space into a fourth instrument.
This performance was recorded live and filmed by Ableton as part of a special session project.
