This month marks **5 years** since the release of *Ore Yèyé O*, a deeply personal and joyful collaboration between **Aron Ottignon** and the groundbreaking electronic percussionist **ÌFÉ** (aka Otura Mun).

### 🎶 The Session

This was **the last session recorded under Blue Note** — and ultimately, they didn’t want to release it. So I left the label and put the track out myself.

What started as a freeform **jam session** with ÌFÉ evolved into something layered and spiritual. We built the track live, then overdubbed vocals and added textures in post — holding on to the groove and feel of the original take.
